Gunnar Jahr
Gunnar Jahr (16 June 1884 – 1968) was a Norwegian businessperson, sports official and politician for the Conservative Party. He was born at Haug in Bærum. After middle school and agricultural school, he was hired in the company P. H. Matthiessen. From 1910 he owned the freight company ''P. Nielsen''. He chaired the employers' association ''Oslo Speditions- og Transportforening'' from 1918 to 1921 and 1924 to 1925, and also chaired Nordic Association of Freight Forwarders. He was a supervisory council of Schøyens Bilcentraler. He was a member of the executive committee of municipal council from 1929 to 1931, and chaired the control committee of Bærums Sparebank. Ingvald Smith-Kielland
Ingvald Marillus Emil Smith-Kielland (9 August 1890 – 29 January 1984) was a Norwegian military officer, diplomat, sports official, and royal servant. He was born in Egge as the son of Colonel Ingvald Mareno Smith-Kielland (1863–1949) and Ragnhild Johanne Duborgh (1869–1961). He was a brother of painter Per Smith-Kielland. Through his grandmother Maren Elisabeth Bull Kielland (1821–1899), he was a first cousin once removed of people like Alexander Kielland. He finished his secondary education in 1908, and graduated from the Norwegian Military Academy in 1911 and the Norwegian Military College in 1913. After some years in the military he joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1920, where he helped to negotiate Norwegian fishing rights near Eastern Greenland ("Erik the Red's Land"). Olaf Helset
Olaf Helset (28 July 1892 – 21 August 1960) was a Norwegian military officer with the rank of Major General, and a sports administrator. He played a central role in the early resistance during the German occupation of Norway, both civil and military resistance. He was later in command of the Norwegian police troops in Sweden during World War II, Norwegian police troops in exile in Sweden. After the war he served as head of the Norwegian Army for two years. Personal life Helset was born in Nannestad, as the son of Peder Helset and Ingeborg Kristiane Skjegstad. He grew up in Romerike. He married Nini Eugenie Hansen in 1920. The Norwegian Ski Federation ( no, Norges Skiforbund) is headquartered in Oslo, Norway and is the national representative of the International Ski Federation.
