Gunk (media)
Gunk was a Belgian television program (Gunk TV) that specialized in electronic games, followed by a magazine by the same name (GUNK). The magazine was commercially available and was linked to the former television program Gunk TV, which aired every Saturday and repeated on Wednesday. Gunk TV was shown on TMF Flanders from October 4, 2004 until June 2008, and from October 2008 until May 2009, it was shown on VIER (VT4). Gunk TV can be compared to Gamepower airing on JIM, a magazine-style show made for and by gamers. The Gunk TV show was hosted by Frank Molnar and Sylvie De Caluwe. From May 2009, Gunk TV had its own digital channel exclusively through Telenet Digital TV. While the programs were mainly about gaming, they also focused on music and entertainment. TMF Flanders
TMF was a Belgian pay television channel whose programming was centred towards pop music videoclips. TMF was operated by Viacom International Media Networks. Originally an abbreviation of "The Music Factory", the channel was launched as TMF Vlaanderen in 1998, mainly due to the success of the eponymous Dutch music television channel. The station began broadcasting on October 3, 1998. The recordings of TMF Flanders occurred mainly in the Eurocam Media Center in Lint, there was until mid-2013 also established the parent company. History TMF Flanders was launched on October 3, 1998. On October 5, 2015, Viacom announced that TMF will stop broadcasting om November 1, 2015. Play4 is a Belgian-Flemish commercial television channel. It is part of SBS Belgium and production company Woestijnvis. As of 2010, the channel has a market share of more than 7%. The channel was formerly known as VIER from 17 September 2012 to 27 January 2021. On 28 January 2021, the channel was rebranded to Play4. JIM (Flemish TV Channel)
JIM (launched as JIMtv in 2001) was a Flemish television channel of the Medialaan (Now DPG Media) that is aimed at people aged between 15 and 24. Its name is a backronym for "Jong, Interactief en Meer" (English: ''Young, Interactive and More''). During its first years, the channel mainly broadcast music videos. They have since started mixing this with programs such as Brainiac and Snoop Dogg's Father Hood. The channel stopped broadcasting on December 16, 2015.
