Gunblade NY
''Gunblade NY'' is a light gun rail shooter developed by Sega for the Model 2 arcade machine and was released in 1995 in North America and 1996 in Japan. The game was re-released alongside its sequel, ''L.A. Machineguns: Rage of the Machines'' for the Wii in 2010 as part of the ''Sega Arcade Hits Pack''. Gameplay ''Gunblade NY'' is a game in which the player must save the city of New York from robotic terrorists. The player assumes the role of a door gunner aboard a Special Air Assault Force experimental Boeing AH-64 Apache, who controls an M60 machine gun with unlimited ammunition installed on the aircraft's left side to shoot down enemies throughout different areas of the city. Sega AM3
, known as from 2000 to 2004, is a defunct division of Sega, a Japanese video game company. Established by 1993, AM3 was managed by Hisao Oguchi and developed a number of arcade games for Sega. Series introduced by AM3 include ''Virtual On'', ''Sega Rally'', ''Crazy Taxi'', and ''Virtua Tennis''. AM3's main focus was on arcade games until the release of the Dreamcast. A door gunner is a crewman tasked with firing and maintaining manually directed armament aboard a military helicopter. The actual role will vary depending on the task given on a particular mission. For certain aircraft a door gunner would use a fully automatic Gatling gun placement. On many larger aircraft such as military planes a turret is used along with heavy cannons.
