Gulistan underpass ( bn, গুলিস্তান আন্ডারপাস) is a pedestrian underpass in Dhaka. It is currently the second largest underpass in Bangladesh after the launch of Sursoptok underpass. Located in Gulistan Gulistan, Golestan or Golastan ( fa, گلستان) means "flower land" in Persian language (''gol'' meaning "flower", and ''-stan'' or meaning "land"). Sursoptok Underpass ( bn, সুরসপ্তক আন্ডারপাস) is a pedestrian underpass located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is one of four underpasses in Dhaka. The underpass with 15 meter high, 135 meters long, 5 meters, four 42 meter long tunnels is currently the largest underpass in Bangladesh. Gulistan, Dhaka
Gulistan is a very busy street in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It means 'Flower Garden' in Persian, which lead to the speculation that in medieval times there might be prominent flower gardens. Several important streets are connected to Gulistan which makes it busy and crowded. The street is full of roadside shops. Thousands of people visit this place for their daily needs.
