Gulabrao Patil
Gulabrao Raghunathrao Patil (Marathi: गुलाबराव रघुनाथराव पाटील) (16 September 1921 – 21 January 1989) was a Renowned Co-operative Leader, Member of Parliament (MP)-Rajya Sabha India, Maharashtra State Sangli from 1966 to 1978, Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) of Maharashtra 1983−87 and president of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress(I) Committee 1981−82. Patil also served as chairman of Maharashtra State Co-operative Bank in Mumbai from 1980 to 1982, chairman of Sangli District Cooperative Bank Sangli and Secretary of National Co-operative Union of India (NCUI), New Delhi. Vasantrao Banduji "Vasantdada" Patil (13 November 1917 – 1 March 1989) was an Indian politician from Sangli, Maharashtra. He was known as the first modern Maratha strongman and first mass leader in Maharashtrian politics. Patil served as Chief Minister of Maharashtra from 17 May 1977 to 18 July 1978 and again from 2 February 1983 to 1 June 1985. Dhananjay Ramchandra Gadgil (10 April 1901 – 3 May 1971), also known as D. R. Gadgil, was an Indian economist, institution builder and the vice-chairman of the Planning Commission of India. Vaikunthbhai Lallubhai Mehta (26 October 1891 – 27 October 1964) was a pioneer leader of Indian Cooperative Movement. Vaikunthbhai was born at Bhavnagar in Bombay Presidency. Balasaheb Desai (born as Daulatrao Shripatrao Desai on 10 March 1910 in Village Vihe, Tal Patan, Satara district) was a leading politician and social worker from Maharashtra, India and held important positions in the Maharashtra State Government as home minister, education minister, and cultural minister during the initial formation of the Maharashtra state. Yashwantrao Balwantrao Chavan (Marathi pronunciation: əʃʋənt̪ɾaːʋ t͡səʋʱaːɳ 12 March 1913 – 25 November 1984) was an Indian politician.
