Gul Circle MRT station is an elevated Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the East West line (EWL). Located in Tuas, western Singapore, the station serves the surrounding industries of JTC Space @ Tuas and Mapletree Pioneer Logistic Hub. The station is operated by SMRT Trains. First announced in 2011 as Tuas MRT station, it was constructed as part of the Tuas West Extension (TWE). The station began operations on 18 June 2017. At the height of , the station is the tallest elevated station in Singapore. The station has a stacked island platform arrangement with provisions for an MRT extension to Tuas South. Tuas Link MRT station is an elevated Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station in western Singapore. Located in Tuas along Tuas West Drive, it is located close to Tuas Depot and Tuas Checkpoint. The station is the terminus of the East West line (EWL) and the westernmost station in Singapore. Gul Circle (or Gul) is an area in Jurong Industrial Estate which is the biggest industrial estate in Singapore. Gul is the home to many heavy industries in Singapore. It is bounded by Ayer Rajah Expressway (Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim), Benoi Road, Pioneer Road and Tuas Road. Tuas Fire Station is located at Gul as well. The area is known as ''Tanjong Gul'' in the old maps of Singapore. Ayer Rajah Expressway
The Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) extends from the western end of the Marina Coastal Expressway in the south of Singapore to Tuas in the west near the Tuas Second Link to Malaysia. Together with the Marina Coastal Expressway and the East Coast Parkway, it forms a second east-west link to complement the role played by the Pan Island Expressway. As from 29 December 2013, ECP and AYE are no longer linked together after MCE was opened. History Construction on the expressway commenced in 1983, with the first two phases completed by 1988. Tuas Crescent MRT station is an above-ground Mass Rapid Transit (Singapore), Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station along the East–West MRT line, East–West line in Tuas, Singapore. This station is named after a road in the vicinity. History It was first announced on 11 January 2011 by then-Transport Minister Raymond Lim in a speech while visiting Bedok MRT station, Bedok when new platform screen doors opened there. It was expected to be completed by 2016 and would benefit an estimated 100,000 commuters daily. According to Lianhe Zaobao, this station and the tracks linking it are built in the middle of a vehicular viaduct, a historical first for Singapore train services. It has the longest staircase in all stations with 105 steps, and the longest escalator of 17.5m in Singapore's rail network. East West MRT Line
The East West line (EWL) is a high-capacity Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) line operated by SMRT in Singapore, running from Pasir Ris station in the east to Tuas Link station in the west, with an additional branch between Changi Airport and Tanah Merah stations. It is the second Mass Rapid Transit line to be built in Singapore. The line is the longest on the MRT network (this title will be given to the Cross Island line upon its complete opening by the 2040s), with 35 stations, 8 of which (from Lavender to Tiong Bahru and Changi Airport stations) are underground.
