The Guirá State Park ( pt, Parque Estadual do Guirá) is a State park in the state of Mato Grosso, Brazil. Cáceres, Mato Grosso
Cáceres is a municipality in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso. It covers an area of 24,000km2 and as of 2020 had an estimated population of 94,861. The town is sited on the Paraguay River, and hosts a popular fishing festival each September. The municipality contains part of the Serra das Araras Ecological Station. Mato Grosso
Mato Grosso ( – lit. "Thick Bush") is one of the states of Brazil, the third largest by area, located in the Central-West region. The state has 1.66% of the Brazilian population and is responsible for 1.9% of the Brazilian GDP. Neighboring states (from west clockwise) are: Rondônia, Amazonas, Pará, Tocantins, Goiás and Mato Grosso do Sul. The Pantanal Matogrossense National Park ( pt, Parque Nacional do Pantanal Matogrossense) is a national park in the state of Mato Grosso at the border to Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil. The park was created by decree nº 86.392 on 24 September 1981, and is managed by the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation (ICMBio).
