Guillaume Bonnafond
Guillaume Bonnafond (born 23 June 1987) is a French former professional road bicycle racer, who rode professionally between 2009 and 2018 for the and teams. He had excelled at both basketball and cycling as a youth, but eventually concentrated on the latter, training with 's Chambéry Cyclisme Formation, subsequently joining the squad as an amateur and, in 2009 as a professional. Amateur career Born in Valence, Bonnafond finished third in the general classification of the Tour de Lorraine as a junior, and he won the overall rankings of the Tour du Valromey, both in 2005. In the following season he recorded two third spots in two stages of the Tour de la Réunion and in 2007 there were two second spots (in stage 1B of the Tour des Pays de Savoie and stage 4 of the Giro della Valle d'Aosta) and two third spots (in the Grand Prix des Vins du Brulhois and in stage 1 of the Tour du Gévaudan. The Tour of the Alps is an annual professional cycling stage race in Italy and Austria. First held in 1962, it was named Giro del Trentino ( en, Tour of Trentino) until 2016, and run over four stages in the Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol region of Italy. In 2015, the race merged with the nearby one-day race Trofeo Melinda, and the 2015 edition was called the Giro del Trentino Melinda. Grand Tour (cycling)
In road bicycle racing, a Grand Tour is one of the three major European professional cycling stage races: Giro d'Italia, Tour de France, and Vuelta a España. Collectively they are termed the ''Grand Tours'', and all three races are similar in format, being three-week races with daily stages. They have a special status in the UCI regulations: more points for the UCI World Tour are distributed in Grand Tours than in other races, and they are the only stage races allowed to last longer than 14 days. All three races have a substantial history, with the Tour de France first held in 1903, Giro d'Italia first held in 1909 and the Vuelta a España first held in 1935. The Tour de Langkawi is a multiple stage bicycle race held in Malaysia. It is named after the archipelago Langkawi, where the first edition started and finished. The race has been held annually since 1996, primarily in February. It usually consists of 10-day-long segments (stages) over 10 days, but has been reduced to eight stages over recent years. While the route changes each year, the Genting Highlands climb, the toughest in the tour, is always included. Julien Bérard (born 27 July 1987) is a French former professional road bicycle racer, who rode professionally between 2010 and 2017, entirely for the team. Amateur career Born in Paris, Bérard recorded his first notable result in July 2005 when he won the third stage of the junior edition of the Tour du Valromey. In another stage during that same stage race he finished in second position. In 2008 he started as a stagiaire for the team. He claimed his first podium finish, at the Tour des Pays de Savoie where he finished in second position in stage 3, and also finished second overall in the general classification. In the Tour de la Creuse he managed to finish in third position in the second stage, but he also claimed the victory in the general classification standings for that race. Blel Kadri (born 3 September 1986) is a former French professional road racing cyclist, who most recently rode for UCI ProTeam . He is of Algerian descent. Career 2013 In March 2013, Kadri won the Roma Maxima, a newly revived race formerly known as the Giro del Lazio. He was part of the early breakaway which formed after the first hour of racing, and shook off his fellow escapees until he was alone with to go.
