''Guidance'' is an American teen drama web series. The series was produced by AwesomenessTV for release on the go90 streaming service. The first season of ''Guidance'' was released on October 18, 2015, with the second season released between November 14 to December 9, 2016, and the third and final season released on August 29, 2017. Overview The first season was released on October 18, 2015 and follows Miriam ( Amanda Steele) attending sessions with her guidance counselor Anna (Michelle Trachtenberg) following the public release of scandalous photos of Miriam circulating around the school. Anna then investigates who released the photos and why. The series was renewed for a second season which was released on November 14, 2016. The second season featured an entirely new cast and storyline – Hilary (Arden Rose), an overachiever at Capital High who discovers that her perfect GPA is suffering, causing her to accuse the school's most beloved teacher of favoritism. A web series (also known as a web show) is a series of scripted or non-scripted online videos, generally in episodic form, released on the Internet, which first emerged in the late 1990s and became more prominent in the early 2000s. A single instance of a web series program can be called an episode or a "webisode", however the term is not always used. In general, web series can be watched on a range of platforms and devices, including desktop, laptop, tablets and smartphones. They are different from streaming television, which can be watched on various streaming platforms. Chachi Gonzales
Olivia "Chachi" Hildén (née Gonzales) is an American dancer, choreographer and actress. She was a member of the dance crew I.aM.mE, which won the sixth season of ''America's Best Dance Crew'' in 2011. Life and career Hildén was born Olivia Gonzales in Houston, Texas. At the age of 6, Gonzales enrolled at a local dance studio and was trained as a ballet dancer. Three years later at a dance event she attended, Gonzales witnessed a hip hop dance crew for the first time. One of the crews there was Marvelous Motion, whose members (Phillip Chbeeb, Di Zhang and Brandon Harrell) would later become her fellow crew members in I.aM.mE. Dime Davis
Dimonique "Dime" Davis (born October 4, 1985) is an American director and producer. She directed several episodes of the BET series ''Boomerang'', and was the co-showrunner of the second season. Davis was the director and executive producer of the debut season of HBO's '' A Black Lady Sketch Show'', for which she received a 2020 Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Directing for a Variety Series, the first Black woman to do so. Allison Schroeder is an American screenwriter. She co-wrote the film ''Hidden Figures'' with Theodore Melfi, earning a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay. Early and personal life Schroeder graduated from Melbourne High School in Florida in 1997. While in high school, she interned at NASA, where her grandparents worked.
