''Guerra de Titanes'' (2019) (Spanish for "War of the Titans") was a professional wrestling event scripted and produced by the Lucha Libre AAA World Wide (AAA) promotion. The show took take place on December 14, 2019, in Madero, Tamaulipas, Mexico at the Domo Madero building and was the twenty-third ''Guerra de Titanes'' show promoted by AAA since 1997. It was the last AAA PPV event held before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, which began in mid-March 2020. In the main event Blue Demon Jr., Rey Escorpión and Rush El Toro Blanco defeated Psycho Clown, Dr. Wagner Jr., and Drago, after which Rush, Konnan, L.A. Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide
Antonio Peña Promotions, S.A. de C.V. d/b/a Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide is a Mexican Lucha Libre (professional wrestling) promotion based in Mexico City, Mexico. Commonly referred to as simply AAA (pronounced "triple A"; an abbreviation of its original name Asistencia Asesoría y Administración, Spanish for "Assistance, Assessment, and Administration"), the promotion was founded in 1992 when Antonio Peña broke away from Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) to set up a promotion, which allowed him more creative freedom. Víctor Manuel Soto Flores (born July 23, 1975) is a Mexican ''Lucha libre, Luchador'' or professional wrestling, professional wrestler. He is currently signed to Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, where he is the former AAA Latin American Championship, AAA Latin American Champion. AAA World Tag Team Championship
The AAA World Tag Team Championship (''Campeonato en Parejas AAA'' in Spanish) is the main tag team title contested for in the Mexican lucha libre promotion Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA). In 1993 AAA created the first version of the AAA World Tag team championship, technically the AAA/IWC (International Wrestling Council) World Tag Team titles. The belts used for the AAA/IWC titles were the old NWA Pacific Northwest Tag Team Championship belts. The original version was abandoned upon Art Barr's death in 1994. In 2007 AAA created a new World tag team title to replace the Comisión de Box y Lucha Libre Mexico D.F. controlled Mexican National Tag Team Championship. Rey Fénix (born December 30, 1990) is a Mexican ''luchador enmascarado'' (masked professional wrestler) signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA), where he is current double champion as the Latin American and World Cruiserweight Champion. In AEW, Fénix currently holds one-third of the AEW World Trios Championship along with his Death Triangle stablemates: Pac, and his real-life older brother, Penta El Zero Miedo. Pentagón Jr
Pentagón is a lucha libre, or professional wrestling, persona also referred to as a gimmick that has been portrayed by a number of different people over the years. The gimmick was created as an Evil twin of professional wrestler Octagón and is always a ''rudo'', or heel character (a character portraying the "bad guy" in wrestling.) The gimmick was created by AAA owner Antonio Peña in 1995, giving AAA the rights to the name "Pentagón", which meant that when wrestlers who played Pentagón left AAA they had to modify the name such as "Pentagón Black". The Lucha Brothers, also known as The Lucha Bros or Los Lucha Bros, are a Mexican professional wrestling tag team consisting of brothers Penta El Zero Miedo/Penta Oscuro and Rey Fénix, and their manager Alex Abrahantes. Lucha De Apuestas
Lucha libre (, meaning "freestyle wrestling" or literally translated as "free fight") is the term used in Latin America for professional wrestling. Since its introduction to Mexico in the early 20th century, it has developed into a unique form of the genre, characterized by colorful masks, rapid sequences of holds and maneuvers, and "high-flying" maneuvers, some of which have been adopted in the United States, Japan, and elsewhere. The wearing of masks has developed special significance, and matches are sometimes contested in which the loser must permanently remove his mask, which is a wager with a high degree of weight attached. Lady Maravilla (born October 22, 1994), is a Mexican ''luchadora enmascarada'' (masked professional wrestler) currently working for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide where she is a one-time AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champion along with Villano III Jr. She is primarily known for her work for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre and The Crash Lucha Libre. ''Los Ingobernables'' (Spanish for "The Ungovernables") is a ''lucha libre'' (Mexican professional wrestling) stable, based in the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) promotion. It was formed in April 2014 by La Máscara, Rush and La Sombra, and has since become renowned as one of the top antagonistic groups in CMLL history.
