Gueiren District, United States National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency () is a rural district in southern Tainan, Taiwan. It is home to the Tainan HSR station. District (Taiwan)
Districts are administrative subdivisions of the Taiwan, Republic of China (Taiwan)'s special municipality (Taiwan), special municipalities of the second level and provincial city (Taiwan), provincial cities of the third level formerly under its Provinces of China, provinces. There are two types of district in the administrative scheme. Ordinary districts are governed directly by the municipality/city government with district administrators appointed by the mayors to four-year terms. Sugar-apple
The sugar-apple or sweet-sop is the edible fruit of ''Annona squamosa'', the most widely grown species of '' Annona'' and a native of tropical climate in the Americas and West Indies. Spanish traders aboard the Manila galleons docking in the Philippines brought it to Asia. The fruit is spherical-conical, in diameter and long, and weighing , with a thick rind composed of knobby segments. The color is typically pale green through blue-green, with a deep pink blush in certain varieties, and typically has a bloom. It is unique among ''Annona'' fruits in being segmented; the segments tend to separate when ripe, exposing the interior. The flesh is fragrant and sweet, creamy white through light yellow, and resembles and tastes like custard. Temple Of Confucius (Gueiren)
A temple of Confucius or Confucian temple is a temple for the veneration of Confucius and the sages and philosophers of Confucianism in Chinese folk religion and other East Asian religions. They were formerly the site of the administration of the imperial examination in China, Korea, Japan and Vietnam and often housed schools and other studying facilities. There is a 72-meter-tall statue of Confucius made of brass and reinforced with steel. The giant statue is located in Qufu, Shandong province, birthplace of the ancient Chinese educator and philosopher. Names The temples are known by a variety of names throughout East Asia. Renshou Temple
Renshou Temple () is a Buddhist temple situated in downtown Foshan, Guangdong, China. History Renshou Temple was first built in the 13th year of Period Shunzhi (1656) in the Qing dynasty (1646–1911) by Chan master Zongtang (). In the 8th year of the age of Kangxi of Kangxi Emperor, namely AD 1669, monk Yulin () rebuilt the shanmen. In the 1st year of Period Xianfeng (1851), monk Renji () reconstruction the temple. In 1935, Li Peixian (), a Chinese Tantric monk, donated property to establish the Ruyi Pagoda (), whose canonization ceremony was held by Venerable Master Hsu Yun in 1938. Lobster Pool
Lobsters are a family (Nephropidae, synonym Homaridae) of marine crustaceans. They have long bodies with muscular tails and live in crevices or burrows on the sea floor. Three of their five pairs of legs have claws, including the first pair, which are usually much larger than the others. Guiren Living Art Center
The Guiren Living Art Center () is an art center in Gueiren District, Tainan, Taiwan. History The art center building was originally constructed in 1934 as the village office for Kijin Village of Tainan Prefecture. After the handover of Taiwan from Japan to the Republic of China in 1945, the building was used as the Guiren Police Precinct under Tainan County Police Bureau. After the police station had been relocated, the building was left idle for a while. Later on, it was renovated into a living art center named Guiren Living Art Center. Architecture The center is housed in a yellow-colored building. The former detention rooms from the previous police station were left intact and have been integrated into the building overall layout. It consists of exhibition rooms, reading areas and computer room. Exhibitions The center displays various exhibitions and a collection of books. National Hsin-Feng Senior High School () is a coed public senior high school located in Gueiren District, Tainan, Taiwan. It is well known for its men's football team. History National Hsin-Feng Senior High School was founded as two-year Gueiren Agriculture School () on 27 March 1929 in order to cultivate local young people to professionals on agriculture. It was later renamed to Gueiren Rural Youth School () in 1935, Hsin-Feng Youth School () in 1936, Hsin-Feng Secondary School () in 1939, and eventually changed to three-year Hsin-Feng Vocational Agriculture School (). History The development of the industrial park started on 27 October 2016 after the Executive Yuan approved the plan.
