Guddu (film)
''Guddu'' is a 1995 Indian Hindi romantic drama film written by Abrar Alvi and directed by Prem Lalwani. It stars Shah Rukh Khan, Manisha Koirala, Deepti Naval, Mukesh Khanna and Mehmood. Its music was composed by Naushad. ''Guddu'' was released on August 11 and earned 4.28 crores in India with a worldwide of 4.44 crores. Plot Guddu is the son of rich, successful Advocate Vikram and his wife, Kavita. While Kavita is a devout and a religious Hindu, Vikram is an atheist. Guddu and Salina Gupta are in love. One day while driving, they have an accident and Salina loses her sight. Guddu blames himself and so do Salina's guardians. Guddu is asked to keep away from Salina. Abrar Alvi
Abrar Alvi (1 July 1927 – 18 November 2009) was an Indian film writer, director and actor. Most of his notable work was done in the 1950s and 1960s with Guru Dutt. He wrote some of the most respected works of Indian cinema, including ''Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam'', ''Kaagaz Ke Phool'' and ''Pyaasa'', which have an avid following the world over. ''Pyaasa'' is included in the All-Time 100 Movies by ''Time (magazine), Time'' magazine, as chosen by critics Richard Corliss and Richard Schickel. Suresh Wadkar
Suresh Ishwar Wadkar (born 7 August 1955) is an Indian playback singer. He performs in both Hindi and Marathi films. He has sung songs in some Bhojpuri films, Odia albums and bhajans and in Konkani films. He was awarded the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for 2018 for Sugam Sangeet. In 2020, the Government of India honoured him with the Padma Shri. Early life and musical training Wadkar was born in Kolhapur in a middle-class family that soon moved to Girangaon. Kedarnath Bhattacharya (born 20 October 1957), better known as Kumar Sanu, is an Indian playback singer. He is known as the King of Melody in Bollywood. He is famous for singing thousands of Bollywood Hindi songs. Sadhana Sargam (née Ghanekar, born 7 March 1969) is an Indian singer known for her playback career in Indian cinema predominantly in Hindi, Bengali, Telugu and Tamil language films. Asrar ul Hassan Khan (1 October 1919 − 24 May 2000), better known as Majrooh Sultanpuri, was an Indian Urdu poet and lyricist in India's Hindi language film industry.
