Gudbrand Bøhn
Gudbrand Bøhn (November 10, 1839 – January 18, 1906) was a Norwegian violinist, concertmaster, and music teacher. Bøhn was born in Nes in Akershus county, Norway. He was the son of the violinist Ole Gulbrandsen Bøhn (1803–1882). He was a central figure in the capital city's artistic community, where he started holding regular chamber music evenings, and he was the concertmaster at the Christiania Theater until 1899, when it closed. Bøhn premiered Edvard Grieg's Violin Sonata No. 1 in F major, Op. 8 in 1867 with the composer at the piano. His students included Christian Sinding, Sigurd Lie, Michael Flagstad, Harald Heide, William Farre, and Johan Halvorsen. Gudbrand Gregersen de Saág (born Gudbrand Gregersen; hu, saági Gregersen Guilbrand; 17 April 1824 – 24 December 1910) was a Norwegian-born Hungarian bridge engineer, architect and member of the Hungarian nobility since 1884. Biography Gregersen was born on 17 April 1824 to farmer Nils Gregersen (1804–1868) and Anne Trulsdatter (1803–1838) in Modum, Norway. A young man and a crafter, Gregersen came to Budapest, Habsburg Empire in the 1850s, where he established a company within general contracting. After a few years, the company had become one of the leading in the Kingdom. Living in the town Szob, near to Budapest, Gregersen was married with Aloyzia (Luise) Sümegh (1836–1906), a daughter of Josef Sümegh and Katharina Stitz. They had 19 children together, of whom seven died as infants. Gudbrand Helenus Hartmann (17 June 1832 – 30 April 1900) was a Norwegian schoolteacher, rector and civil servant. He was born in Oslo, Christiania to Paul Bøckmann Hartmann and Henrikka Severine Anker, and was the father of Edle Hartmann and Egil Hartmann. Hartmann worked as schoolteacher in Larvik from 1857 to 1875. From 1875 he was rector at a secondary school in Tromsø, and from 1886 in Skien. He was also a municipal servant in Tromsø and Skien. Gudbrand Østbye (2 October 1885 – 2 June 1972) was a Norwegian army officer and historian. He was born in Gjøvik, a son of factory owner Anders Østbye and Ellen Anna Hovdenak. He was married to Ragna Heyerdahl Hørbye, and thus son-in-law of Ragna Hørbye. During the Norwegian Campaign in 1940, he was in command of the 4th Brigade. Gudbrand Guldbrandsen Skatteboe (18 July 1875 – 3 April 1965) was a Norwegian rifle shooter who competed in the early 20th century in rifle shooting.
