Guardiões Do Estado
The Guardians of the State (Brazilian Portuguese: ), or the acronym GDE, is a Brazilian criminal faction. It operates in the state of Ceará. It is the 4th largest faction in Brazil and is made up mostly of poorly prepared teenagers, pre-teens and young adults. The place or date of origin of the faction is not known for sure, as some sources claim that the faction emerged in mid-2012, others claim that it emerged in 2006, 2015, 2014 or 2016, but the most accepted is that it appeared in 2017, in the community of Conjunto Palmeiras. Faction power is decentralized, so there is no overall faction leader. Currently, it is known for burning buses, massacres and homicides in the state, the most notable being the Cajazeiras massacre. The (Northern Family) is a criminal faction that occupies northern Brazil and some regions in other countries such as: Colombia, Peru and Venezuela. It is considered the 3rd largest faction in Brazil, and the largest in the state of Amazonas, in addition to not having good relations with other Brazilian factions, having already entered into several faction wars. The group was created in 2007 by Fernandes Barbosa, Zé Roberto da Compensa and Gelson Carnaúba (known as Mano G.), it emerged in prisons and outskirts of Manaus, as a way of fighting to prevent the precarious and dangerous conditions that affected prisoners in Manaus. Comando Vermelho (, ''Red Command'' or ''Red Commando''), also known as CV, is a Brazilian criminal organization engaged primarily in drug trafficking, arms trafficking, protection racketeering, kidnapping-for-ransom, hijacking of armored trucks, loansharking, irregular warfare, narco-terrorism, and turf wars against rival criminal organizations, such as Primeiro Comando da Capital and Terceiro Comando Puro. Terceiro Comando Puro (Pure Third Command) is a Brazilian criminal organization in Rio de Janeiro that split off from the Terceiro Comando (TC) in 2002 due to disputes about TC's affiliations with the ''Amigos dos Amigos'' gang. TC weakened while TCP strengthened and eventually absorbed its parent group's members. TCP is primarily involved with drug trafficking.
