Gualaceo S.C.
Gualaceo Sporting Club is an Ecuadorian professional football club from the city of Gualaceo. Founded on 2 April 2000, they play in the Serie A. History Founded on 2 April 2000, the club first reached the Segunda Categoría in 2005 after finishing second in the ''Segunda Categoría del Azuay'', but were knocked out in the first stage. After again reaching only the first stage in 2009, the club reached the final phase of the tournament in 2010, finishing fourth. Guadalceo won two consecutive regional tournaments in 2011 and 2012, but again failed to achieve promotion in the national division. After only playing in the regional division in 2013, the club again reached the Segunda Categoría in 2014, where they achieved promotion to the Serie B as champions. After a seventh place finish in their first year in the second division, Gualaceo finished third in 2016, only two points shy of second-placed Clan Juvenil. Fabián Frías
Fabián Alberto Frías (born 5 March 1971) is an Argentine football manager and former player who played as a goalkeeper. He is the current manager of Ecuadorian club Gualaceo. Career Born in Buenos Aires, Frías represented Colegiales, Excursionistas, Chacarita Juniors, Platense and Central Ballester. He retired at the age of 29, and started working as a fitness coach at Platense, Atlanta, All Boys, Deportivo Morón, River Plate and Sportivo Italiano. In 2011, Frías moved to Peru and joined Guillermo Rivarola's staff at Sporting Cristal, as his assistant. Gualaceo
Gualaceo, nicknamed “El Jardin del Azuay” (The Garden of Azuay), is a canton in the sierra region of Ecuador in the Azuay Province. It is located 35 km east from the city of Cuenca and is one of the biggest cities in Azuay. Federico Jesús Flores (born 18 May 1992) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Gualaceo. Career Flores started in the youth teams of Rosario Central, he subsequently made his first-team debut on 16 June 2013 in a Primera B Nacional win over Deportivo Merlo as he was substituted on for the final five minutes.
