Grupo FARO (Foundation for the Advance of Reforms and Opportunities), is an independent, nonprofit and secular think tank. Grupo FARO was founded in Ecuador in 2004. History It was established to provide support active participation of civil society, the business sector and state entities, based on research and analysis, for aiming to consolidate an Ecuadorian State that is more efficient and equitable. in 2009, Grupo FARO was awarded a grant by the Think Tank Initiative -a global programme funded by IDRC, The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, DFID and DGIS. Ecuador Mi Pais
Ecuador Mi País (EMiP) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) founded in August 2005 as an initiative of Ecuadorian professionals living in the Washington D.C. area, United States, that felt a desire to contribute to the social and economic development of their country. Its founders felt the most effective way to collaborate towards the development of the country was by supporting educational projects targeted to low-income groups. Since its origin, the organization has sponsored more than 100 students. EMiP is a registered 501(c)(3) organization operated and directed by volunteers. It was legally incorporated in the District of Columbia (D.C.) in June 2006. Economic Growth
Economic growth can be defined as the increase or improvement in the inflation-adjusted market value of the goods and services produced by an economy in a financial year. Statisticians conventionally measure such growth as the percent rate of increase in the real gross domestic product, or real GDP. An information society is a society where the usage, creation, distribution, manipulation and integration of information is a significant activity. Equity, or economic equality, is the concept or idea of fairness in economics, particularly in regard to taxation or welfare economics. Anita Rivas
Anita Carolina Rivas Párraga (born May 4, 1972) is an Ecuadorian lawyer and politician. She was the mayor of Puerto Francisco de Orellana from 2005 to 2019. In 2009 she visited the United Kingdom, Luxembourg and Spain to propose that oil in her area could remain unexploited if compensation could be found and Yasuni National Park's habitat would be preserved. The eventual support delivered was less than 0.5 per cent of the money requested. The oil revenue that was delivered was spent on items including the supply of toilets and drinking water. Life Rivas was born in Puerto Francisco de Orellana in 1972, three years after her parents, Dioselinda Párraga and Enrique Rivas, moved from Manabí.
