Grup Gündoğarken ( English: ''Group While Sunrises'') was a Turkish popular music group. The group was founded by İlhan Şeşen in 1983. Other members of the group were Gökhan Şeşen and Burhan Şeşen, both of which are his nephews. Their early performances were mostly incidental music. Folk Rock
Folk rock is a hybrid music genre that combines the elements of folk and rock music, which arose in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom in the mid-1960s. Anatolian rock ( tr, Anadolu rock), or known as Turkish psychedelic rock, is a fusion of Turkish folk music and rock. It emerged during the mid-1960s, soon after rock groups became popular in Turkey. İlhan Şeşen (born June 18, 1948; Manisa) is a Turkish musician and artist. Career İlhan Şeşen started his music life in 1968. In 1971, he released an album named "Kavga". In 1983, he founded Grup Gündoğarken with Gökhan and Burhan Şeşen. In 2001, Şeşen released his second solo album, named "Neler Oluyor Bize?". After that, in 2003, Şeşen released "Ben Bu Şarkıları Kime Söyleyeyim?". After the release of this album, he took a role in the TRT TV show Mühürlü Güller. Levent Kırca
Zeki Levent Kırca (September 28, 1950 – October 12, 2015) was a Turkish comedian, stage and film actor, columnist of the newspaper '' Aydınlık'' and politician of the left-wing Patriotic Party ( tr, Vatan Partisi). Kırca was born in Samsun on September 28, 1950. Kırca was a faculty member at Beykent University, Faculty of Fine Arts. He was named a State Artist in 1998, following a suggestion put forward by the 55th government of Turkey, however, the title was taken back by the 62rd government. He died of liver cancer in Istanbul on October 12, 2015. Ferhan Åžensoy
Osman Ferhan Şensoy (26 February 1951 – 31 August 2021) was a Turkish actor, playwright and director. Private life Şensoy was born in Çarşamba district of Samsun Province in northern Turkey on 26 February 1951. After attending Galatasaray High School some time, he finished Çarşamba High School in 1970. In 1988, he married stage and film actress Derya Baykal (born 1957). From this marriage two daughters, Müjgan Ferhan and Derya, were born. The couple divorced in 2004. Turkey was represented in the Eurovision Song Contest 1988 by a music trio named Mazhar Fuat Özkan (names of the members) with the song "Sufi", written and composed by the trio. Before Eurovision 12. Eurovision Şarkı Yarışması Türkiye Finali The national final featured songs written by seventeen composers directly invited by TRT. However, Attila Özdemiroğlu, one of the invited composers, did not submit a song for unknown reasons. The final took place on 13 February 1988 at the TRT Studios in Ankara, hosted by Canan Kumbasar.
