Grundig Team Trophy
The Grundig Team Trophy was a women's professional golf tournament on the Swedish Golf Tour played annually from 1989 until 1991. It was always held at Royal Drottningholm Golf Club in Stockholm, Sweden. The 36-hole best ball tournament made its debut in 1989 and was immediately popular with the players. Pia Nilsson and Hillewi Hagström successfully defended their title in 1990 in very wet conditions. Annika Sörenstam
Annika Charlotta Sörenstam (; born 9 October 1970) is a Swedish professional golfer. She is regarded as one of the best female golfers in history. Before stepping away from competitive golf at the end of the 2008 season, she had won 90 international tournaments as a professional, making her the female golfer with the most wins to her name. She has won 72 official LPGA tournaments including ten majors and 24 other tournaments internationally. After turning 50, she came back from her retirement and added a win in the 2021 U.S. Senior Women's Open. Swedish Golf Tour (women) Events
The Swedish Golf Tour, currently titled as the Cutter & Buck Tour for sponsorship reasons, is a developmental professional golf which was formerly operated by Svenska Golftourerna AB, as well as being owned equally by the Swedish Golf Federation and the PGA of Sweden. Since 2018 it has been operated by the Swedish Golf Federation. The tour is designed to help Swedish golfers to reach the standard of play needed to qualify for the European Tour or the Challenge Tour. The events on the SGT are included in the Nordic Golf League, which is one of four European Tour-recognised third-tier tours, and is run in collaboration by the national golf associations of Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden. The four third-level tours carry Official World Golf Ranking points. Charlotte Montgomery (born 24 August 1958) is a Swedish professional golfer. She was one of the two players, who were the first female Swedes to play collegiate golf at a university in the United States and she was the first Swede to qualify for one of the main golf tours in the U.S. Early years Montgomery was born in Stockholm, Sweden, as the second of three daughters to Henry and Barbro Montgomery. Liv Wollin (née Forsell) (born 17 April 1945) is a Swedish professional golfer, who is regarded as having been one of the best Swedish female amateur players ever. Early life Wollin grew up in Lidingö outside Stockholm, Sweden, as the only girl among five siblings. Her parents were Jacob Forsell and Mette, nee Grut, and they were not golfers. 1990 Swedish Golf Tour (women)
The 1990 Swedish Golf Tour was the fifth season of the Swedish Golf Tour, a series of professional golf tournaments for women held in Sweden. The tournament Directors were Rolf Ericsson, Claes Grönberg and Pia Nilsson. The player council consisted of Katrin Möllerstedt, Susann Norberg, Viveca Hoff and Liv Wollin. Tournaments were played over 54 holes with no cut, the SI and LET events over 72 holes with cuts. Amateur Annika Sörenstam, Margareta Bjurö and Jennifer Allmark captured the most titles with two wins each, while Marie Wennersten-From won her first Order of Merit. Maria Bertilsköld (born 13 June 1970) is a Swedish professional golfer and National Team coach. She won the 1990 European Lady Junior's Team Championship and played on the Ladies European Tour for five years between 1992 and 1996. Amateur career Bertilsköld won Swedish Junior Strokeplay Championship in 1990. The same year, she won the European Lady Junior's Team Championship with a team that included Annika Sörenstam, Charlotte Eliasson, Åsa Gottmo, Mia Bergman and Carin Koch.
