''Growing Up Is Getting Old'' is the second studio album by American country music singer Jason Michael Carroll. It was released on April 28, 2009 via Arista Nashville. Its lead-off single, " Where I'm From" charted in the Top 40 on the Hot Country Songs chart. The second single from the album was "Hurry Home." As with his first album, Carroll worked with producer Don Gehman. Content The first single from ''Growing Up Is Getting Old'' is "Where I'm From". This song made its chart debut in late 2008 and has entered Top 20 on the ''Billboard'' country singles charts. It is also the first single of his career that Carroll did not co-write, and only three of its songs were co-written by him. "Hurry Home" was released in June as the second single. Jason Michael Carroll
Jason Michael Carroll (born June 13, 1978) is an American country music artist. After being discovered at a local talent competition in 2004, Carroll was signed to the Arista Nashville label in 2006, releasing his debut album ''Waitin' in the Country'' that year. This album has produced three consecutive Top 40 country hits for him on the ''Billboard'' Hot Country Songs charts: " Alyssa Lies", " Livin' Our Love Song" and "I Can Sleep When I'm Dead". Dobro
Dobro is an American brand of resonator guitars, currently owned by Gibson and manufactured by its subsidiary Epiphone. The term "dobro" is also used as a generic term for any wood-bodied, single-cone resonator guitar. The Dobro was originally a guitar manufacturing company founded by the Dopyera brothers with the name "Dobro Manufacturing Company". Hammond Organ
The Hammond organ is an electric organ invented by Laurens Hammond and John M. Hanert and first manufactured in 1935. Multiple models have been produced, most of which use sliding drawbars to vary sounds. Until 1975, Hammond organs generated sound by creating an electric current from rotating a metal tonewheel near an electromagnetic pickup, and then strengthening the signal with an amplifier to drive a speaker cabinet. Tom Bukovac is an American session musician and producer. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and raised in nearby Willowick, Ohio. He has been a Nashville-based musician since 1992. He previously owned 2nd Gear, a used music consignment shop in South Nashville.
