Group 20 Rugby League
Group 20 is a rugby league competition in the region of Griffith, New South Wales, Griffith, New South Wales, Australia. The competition is played in five grades, with these being Under 16s, Under 18s, Women's League-Tag, Reserve Grade and First Grade. Currently, a home and away season consisting of eighteen rounds is played. The best five teams then play-off according to the Top five play-offs, McIntyre System, culminating in the Group 20 Grand Final, which is traditionally held at E.W. Moore Oval in Griffith, New South Wales, Griffith, currently known as Solar Mad Stadium for sponsorship purposes. Current clubs There are currently nine clubs in the competition. Temora, New South Wales
Temora () is a town in the north-east of the Riverina area of New South Wales, south-west of the state capital, Sydney. At the the population of Temora was 4,693. Temora has been reported as being the friendliest town in New South Wales, following a series of mentions in the Sydney Morning Herald's Column 8, which organised a bus trip to the town for Sydney readers in 2005. Temora was named by John Donald McCansh. In September 1880 he told the Warwick Argus: Neither the ''Wiradjuri Dictionary'' (2010) nor the ''Macquarie Dictionary of Aboriginal Words'' (2006) lists "temora" or any words similar to it, but the Dharug language dictionary online defines "temora" as "a tree standing alone". Alternatively, in the Celtic language it is derived from a term which means "an eminence commanding a wide view." Wamoon is a village in Leeton Shire in the Riverina region of New South Wales, Australia. Wamoon is located from Leeton along the Irrigation Way to the Leeton CBD and Henry Lawson Drive to the Leeton suburb of Wattle Hill. Wamoon provides a village of homes to the farmers of northern Leeton and there is a small primary school known as Wamoon Public School. Wamoon Post Office opened in July 1920 and closed in 1983. In 1993 Geographical Names Board of New South Wales deleted Wamoon when the village was removed from official government publication of locality names. In May 2006 the Geographical Names Board of New South Wales approved the reinstatement of Wamoon as a village. Yanco is located from Leeton along Irrigation Way. Yanco is home to the Powerhouse Museum, McCaughey Park, Murrumbidgee Rural Studies Centre and Yanco Agricultural High School. Yanco North Post Office opened on 1 March 1888. It was renamed ''Yanko'' in 1892 and ''Yanco'' in 1928. Narrandera
Narrandera ( ) until around 1949 also spelled "Narandera", is a town located in the Riverina region of southern New South Wales, Australia. The town lies on the junction of the Newell and Sturt highways, adjacent to the Murrumbidgee River, and it is considered the gateway to the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area. At the 2016 census, Narrandera had a population of 3,746 people. History Narrandera is a river town with a rich heritage. Captain Charles Sturt is credited with being the first European to observe the area that later was to become known as Narrandera. Yenda is a town in the Riverina district of New South Wales, Australia. The town is located about east of Griffith, north-west of Narrandera, and west of Sydney in the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area of southern New South Wales. Although most of the original 15-acre farms have been consolidated into large vineyards and most farmhouses have disappeared, farm roads are named after the original settlers.
