Andrew Stephen Grove (born András István Gróf; 2 September 193621 March 2016) was a Hungarian-American businessman and engineer who served as the third CEO of Intel Corporation. He escaped from Communist-controlled Hungary at the age of 20 and moved to the United States, where he finished his education. He was the third employee and eventual third CEO of Intel, transforming the company into the world's largest semiconductor company. As a result of his work at Intel, along with his books and professional articles, Grove had a considerable influence on electronics manufacturing industries worldwide. Bela "Bert" Grof (9 June 1921 –17 November 2011) was a Hungarian-born Australian agricultural researcher with contributions to grassland and forage research in the tropics. Education and early professional life Grof was born in Győr, Hungary to Bela Grof and Maria née Gunde. Bert Grof graduated in Agricultural Science from the ''Hungarian Royal University of Sciences'', going on to obtain his Doctorate in Economic Botany at the same institution. After migrating 1949 to Australia, he joined the Queensland Department of Agriculture and Stock in 1950. During the 1950s and 1960s, Grof was also involved in forage species collecting missions in Africa, Southeast Asia, and South and Central America. Dávid Attila Gróf (born 17 April 1989) is a Hungarian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Greek Super League 2 club Levadiakos. Gróf started his senior career with Scottish club Hibernian, making one appearance during the 2008–09 season before being released from his contract. He subsequently played in England for Notts County, Tamworth, Mansfield Town and Walsall. The ''Grossflammenwerfer'' or ''Grof'' is a large flamethrower, designed to be used from the trenches. In addition to man-portable units, the Germans designed heavy flamethrowers before and during the First World War. The fuel and propellant containers were too large and heavy for mobility, but the hose could be long enough to be carried out of the trenches closer to the enemy. Multiple propellant and fuel containers could be connected together to improve range and usage time. These flamethrowers were the first flamethrowers made by Richard Fiedler.
