Joshua Winslow Groban (born February 27, 1981) is an American singer, songwriter, and actor. His first four solo albums have been certified multi-platinum, and he was charted in 2007 as the number-one best selling artist in the United States, with over 22.3 million records. , he had sold over 25 million records worldwide. Groban originally studied acting, but moved to singing as his voice developed. Joshua Groban
Joshua Paul Groban (born August 15, 1973) is an American lawyer who serves as an associate justice of the California Supreme Court. He was appointed to the California Supreme Court by Governor Jerry Brown on November 14, 2018. Education and law career Groban was raised in Del Mar, California and graduated from Torrey Pines High School. His father is a physician at University of California, San Diego hospital, and his mother, Deborah Isackson Groban, served as a member of Del Mar City Council. Groban attended Stanford University, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1995, and Harvard Law School, obtaining a Juris Doctor degree in 1998. Groban began his legal career serving as a law clerk to U.S. District Judge William C. Conner in the Southern District of New York from 1998 to 1999. ''The Cure for Insomnia'' is a 1987 experimental film directed by John Henry Timmis IV, which was, according to ''Guinness World Records'', the List of longest films by running time, longest running film at the time. This record has since been surpassed by several other films. At 5,220 minutes long (87 hours, or 3 days and 15 hours) in length, the film has no plot, instead consisting of artist L. D. Groban reading his 4,080-page poem ''A Cure for Insomnia'' over the course of three and a half days, spliced with occasional clips from Heavy metal music, heavy metal and pornographic videos. It was first played in its entirety at Art Institute of Chicago, The School of the Art Institute in Chicago, Illinois, from January 31 to February 3, 1987, in one continuous showing.
