Gro Merete Brækken (born 8 December 1952) is a Norwegian businessperson. Information She was born in Narvik, and lived in Mo i Rana, Moss and Trondheim during her youth. She took her education at the Norwegian Institute of Technology, graduating in chemical engineering in 1975. She worked in Norske Shell from 1976 to 1982 and Statoil in Stavanger from 1982 to 1988. She was then chief executive officer of Ulstein International from 1988 to 1990, before working in Den norske Bank from 1991 to 1994. From 1994 to 1999 she was the vice president of the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise. She was a representative and deputy chair of the International Gas Union between 1983 and 1988, deputy chair of Statkraft from 1991 to 1994 and board member of Kongsberg Gruppen from 1987 to 1997, the Norwegian Export Council from 1995 to 1999 and the Norwegian Refugee Council from 1997 to 1999. The Norwegian Export Council ( no, Norges Eksportråd) was a Norwegian state-owned consultant organ established in 1945. Its role was to provide consultancy and advice for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in export-related matters. Snarøya
Snarøya is a populated peninsula in the inner Oslofjord in Norway. It belongs to Bærum municipality in Viken (formerly Akershus) county. It is located south of the districts Lysaker, Lagåsen and Fornebu, and has 2,940 inhabitants. History Its name is derived from the word ''snar'', meaning thicket or brushy terrain. The suffix ''-øya'' refers to the fact that the peninsula was an island until the nineteenth century. Per Terje Vold (born 6 April 1945) is a Norwegian civil servant and businessperson. He grew up at the farm Engan near Røros, and attended school in Røros and Orkdal. He studied science at the University of Oslo and economics at the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration, and started his career in the Ministry of Industry and the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy. He then worked in the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development and Storebrand. He was an executive in Storebrand from 1992 to 1994, but was fired by the board of directors after the Airbus scandal, in which he was even sentenced to eighteen days of prison for tax irregularities. ''Agderposten'' is a daily newspaper published in Arendal, Norway. History and profile ''Agderposten'' was founded by teacher Jens Svendsen and published for the first time on 1 July 1874. Svendsen was the owner and editor-in-chief until 1919. His son Jens Svendsen Jr. was a co-editor for a couple of years. Later editors were Jens Vevstad from 1919 to 1928, Magne Torsvik from 1928 to 1936, then Robert Knudsen. Regarding ownership, a stock company named Agderposten was set up in 1919.
