Marcel Răducan
Marcel Răducan (born 10 February 1967, in Grinăuţi-Moldova) is a Moldovan politician, a deputy in the Legislature 2005–2009 elected on the lists of the Electoral Bloc Democratic Moldova. From 2009 to February 2015 he served as Minister of Regional Development and Construction in the First Vlad Filat Cabinet and in the Second Filat Cabinet as well. From 30 November 2018 he is the President of the Competition Council. Biography Răducan was born on 10 February 1967 in Grinăuți-Moldova, Ocnița district. He is an engineer-mechanic, executive director of the enterprise with foreign capital "Avirom-Prod". In March 2005, he was elected a deputy in the Parliament from the "Our Moldova" Bloc. He is a member of the Democratic Party of Moldova. Ștefan Vodă District
Ștefan Vodă () is a district ( ro, raion) in the south-east of Moldova, with the administrative center at Ștefan Vodă. As of 1 January 2011, its population was 71,900. The district is situated 100 km from Chișinău and 100 km from Odessa, Ukraine. History Localities with the earliest documentary attestation are: Cioburciu, Olănești, Carahasani, first certified locations in 1405-1456. In the 16th-18th centuries, intense agriculture was developed, with important wine-making industries and population growth attested. In 1812, after the Russo-Turkish War (1806-1812), Bessarabia was incorporated into the Russian Empire during this period (1812–1917), and an intense russification of the native population occurred.
