Lidiya Grigoryeva (; born 25 January 1974 in Smychka, Chuvash ASSR) is a Russian long-distance runner from the Chuvashia region. Running career Grigoryeva won the bronze medal in the 10,000 metres at the 2006 European Championships in Athletics in Gothenburg, Sweden in a time of 30:32.72, a new personal best and the tenth-best time ever run by a European woman. She also won the 2006 Los Angeles Marathon in a time of 2:25:10 and the 2005 Paris Marathon in 2:27:01. Her personal best over the half marathon is 1:11:01, run in Edmonton at the 2005 IAAF World Half Marathon Championships. Nataliya Grigoryeva (, née Dorofeyeva, born 3 December 1962) is a retired athlete who specialized in the 100 metres hurdles. She represented the Soviet Union and Ukraine, and holds the Ukrainian record. Career Grigoryeva was born in Ishimbay in today's Bashkortostan, and represented the club Spartak in Kharkiv. She finished fourth at the 1988 Olympic Games, won the gold medal at the 1990 Goodwill Games, and won the bronze medal at the 1991 World Championships. She was caught for doping around this point in her career. She also competed at the 1990 European Championships, the 1996 Olympic Games and the 1997 World Indoor Championships without reaching the final. Petrashevsky Circle
The Petrashevsky Circle was a Russian literary discussion group of progressive-minded intellectuals in St. Petersburg in the 1840s. It was organized by Mikhail Petrashevsky, a follower of the French utopian socialist Charles Fourier. Among the members were writers, teachers, students, minor government officials and army officers. While differing in political views, most of them were opponents of the tsarist autocracy and Russian serfdom. Like that of the Lyubomudry group founded earlier in the century, the purpose of the circle was to discuss Western philosophy and literature that was officially banned by the Imperial government of Tsar Nicholas I.
