Griffin Logue
Griffin Logue (born 13 April 1998) is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the North Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL), having previously played for the Fremantle Football Club. AFL career Logue was drafted by Fremantle with their first selection and eighth overall in the 2016 national draft. He made his debut in the sixteen point win against the at Domain Stadium in round three of the 2017 season. Late in the round 15 match against , Logue gave away a crucial 50-metre penalty after he failed to correctly return the ball to Nick Riewoldt, who had fooled Logue into thinking that he had taken a mark inside forward 50; in fact, it was Tim Membrey who took the mark, and he would later kick a goal from the 50-metre penalty to give his side a nine-point win. West Australian Football League
The West Australian Football League (WAFL) is an Australian rules football league based in Perth, Western Australia. The league currently consists of ten teams, which play each other in a 20-round season usually lasting from March to September, with the top five teams playing off in a finals series, culminating in a Grand Final. Darcy Tucker (born 23 January 1997) is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the North Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL), after previously playing for the Fremantle Football Club. Leonard Peter "Len" Vlahov (29 June 1940 – 24 February 1997) was an Australian track and field athlete who specialised in the discus. He was the national champion in 1969 and 1975, and represented Australia at the 1962 British Empire and Commonwealth Games and the 1967 Summer Universiade. Ieva "Eva" Kampe (married name Vlahov; born 29 November 1940) is a former Latvian-Australian track and field athlete who represented Australia in the long jump at the 1962 British Empire and Commonwealth Games. She placed fourth in the event, and also won two medals at the Australian Athletics Championships. Early life Kampe was born in Latvia, arriving in Australia after the Second World War as a refugee and settling in Perth with her family. Two of her uncles were murdered during the 1940 Soviet occupation of Latvia, while her maternal grandparents were killed during the Latvian War of Independence. Kampe's father, Leo, had been a minister in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Latvia, and continued his ministry after arriving in Australia, supported by the Lutheran Church of Australia. Andrew Vlahov
Andrew Mitchell Vlahov (born 1 April 1969) is an Australian retired professional basketball player. He played his entire eleven-year professional career for the Perth Wildcats of the National Basketball League (NBL), with whom he won three championships in 1991, 1995 and 2000. Early life Vlahov was born in Perth to Eva (née Kampe) and Len Vlahov. His mother had arrived in Australia as a post-war refugee from Latvia, while his father was the son of Croatian immigrants.
