David Grewe
David Grewe (born 1976) is the former head baseball coach at Michigan State University and former associate head baseball coach at Louisiana State University, and former head baseball coach at Milligan College, and former assistant baseball coach at Notre Dame, Central Michigan and University of Chicago. He won the 2009 National Championship in Omaha, Nebraska with the LSU Tigers. In 2019, Grewe returned to South Bend, Indiana, to start a career in the RV industry working as a manufacturer's representative. Prior to that, he founded his own company, built a sports leadership platform called iRecruit1440, and launched a sports technology platform called RecruitsIQ, a computer software platform that organizes performance data, historical trends, and recruiting tendencies of college athletic programs and then makes it accessible for the recruitable athlete, using an algorithm and matching preferences. Sam Grewe
Samuel Grewe (born June 10, 1998) is an American Paralympic high jumper. Grewe contracted osteosarcoma aged 13 which resulted in a pseudo-amputation procedure called a rotationplasty being performed on his right leg. Grewe jumped for the University of Notre Dame Track and Field Team, where he studied Pre-Med and resided in Fisher Hall on campus. As of 2022, Grewe attends the University of Michigan Medical School. Outside of athletics, Grewe is also a motivational speaker, including a TED Talk that he delivered in February of 2022. Early life Samuel (Sam) Grewe was born and raised in Middlebury, IN. He was a student in the Middlebury Community Schools system and attended Northridge High School, where he graduated in the class of 2017. During the basketball season of his 7th grade year, he began to experience a sharp pain in his right knee, which he originally attributed to growing pains. Wilhelm Grewe
Wilhelm Georg Grewe (16 October 1911 – 11 January 2000) was a German diplomat and professor of international law. He played a major role in formulating the Hallstein Doctrine. He was an expert in international law and was the author of ''Epochen der Völkerrechtsgeschichte'' (1984), a standard work on the subject. Academic career From 1930 to 1934 Grewe studied law at Hamburg, Berlin, Freiburg and Frankfurt. He then worked as an assistant to Professor Ernst Forsthof at the University of Hamburg, and in 1936 he was awarded a doctorate (Dr. jur.). His doctoral thesis was entitled ''Gnade und Recht'' (Mercy and Law). From 1936 to 1937 he was at the University of Königsberg and from 1937 to 1939 at the ''Deutsches Institut für außenpolitische Forschung'' (German Institute for Foreign Policy Research) in Berlin, where he was responsible for International Law. Constance Grewe
Constance Grewe (born 14 December 1946 in Stuttgart) is a German-French academic, and former judge of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. She is Professor Emeritus at the University of Strasbourg. Biography Constance Grewe is the daughter of the German professor of international law and diplomat Wilhelm Grewe. Grewe earned her bachelor's degree at Frankfurt in 1966 and completed her studies in law in Giessen, Germany until 1967 and in France at the Faculty of Law in Caen from 1967 until 1974. She became a French citizen in 1969. In 1979 she obtained her Ph.D. at the University of Caen with a thesis on Germany's cooperative federalism. From 1981 to 1983 she was professor at the University of Chambéry and from 1983 to 1997 professor at the University of Caen. She was responsible for the Fundamental Rights Research Department.
