Greta Hodgkinson
Greta Hodgkinson O.Ont (born August 1973) is an American-Canadian ballet dancer. She was a principal dancer with the National Ballet of Canada until she stepped down in 2020. She will continue to perform freelance and become the artist-in residence of the National Ballet. Early life and training Hodgkinson was born in Providence, Rhode Island. Her maternal grandparents are Armenian. She took part in dancing, ice-skating and gymnastics as a child. She left her family and started training at Canada's National Ballet School in Toronto, skipping seventh grade. Career Hodgkinson graduated into National Ballet of Canada in 1990, shortly before her 17th birthday. In 1996, she was promoted to the rank of Principal Dancer. Roberto Bolle (born March 26, 1975 in Casale Monferrato) is an Italian danseur. He is currently a ''principal dancer'' with the American Ballet Theatre and a principal dancer ''étoile'' at La Scala Theatre Ballet. Bolle also dances regularly as a guest artist with the world’s leading companies, including The Royal Ballet, the Mariinsky Ballet, the Bolshoi Ballet and the Paris Opera Ballet. Guillaume Côté
Guillaume Côté (born September 17, 1981) is a Canadian ballet dancer and choreographer. He is currently a principal dancer and a Choreographic Associate at the National Ballet of Canada. Early life Côté was born in Lac Saint-Jean, Quebec. Both of his parents are schoolteachers, who invited a teacher to start a ballet school in Lac Saint-Jean. Côté, his sister and several cousins started ballet at that school. At age 11, despite not speaking English, he entered Canada's National Ballet School in Toronto. Career In 1998, at age 17, Côté joined the National Ballet of Canada as an apprentice. ''Marguerite and Armand'' is a ballet danced to an orchestral arrangement of Franz Liszt's B minor piano sonata. It was created in 1963 by the British choreographer Sir Frederick Ashton specifically for Rudolf Nureyev and Margot Fonteyn.
