Igueben is a local government area of Edo State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are located in the town of Igueben, which has an area of and a population of 69,639 according to the 2006 census. The postal code is 310. History Igueben was founded around 1516 in the Southern region of Nigeria. At the time, the area was part of the Kingdom of Benin.
