Greg Sutton (basketball)
Gregory Ray Sutton (born December 3, 1967) is an American former professional basketball player who was selected by the San Antonio Spurs in the second round (49th pick overall) of the 1991 NBA draft. Sutton, a 6'2" (1.88 m) and 170 lb (77 kg) point guard, played for Spurs, Charlotte Hornets and Philadelphia 76ers in three seasons. In his NBA career, Sutton played in a total of 168 games and averaged 4.5 ppg. Santa Cruz (Spanish for "Holy Cross") is the county seat and largest city of Santa Cruz County, in Northern California. As of the 2020 census, the city population was 62,956. Club Bàsquet Sant Josep was a professional basketball team based in Girona, Catalonia, Spain. History The club was founded in 1962 by Ramon Sitjà as CB Sant Josep. In 1989 it became the Anonymous Sport Association (SAD). In 1987, when the ACB was enlarged to 24 teams, CB Girona entered the first division. In 1991, the club had to buy the rights of the Granollers EB to stay in the ACB as they were going to be relegated to the second division. Oral Roberts University (ORU) is a private evangelical university in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Founded in 1963, the university is named after its founder, evangelist Oral Roberts. Langston University (LU) is a public land-grant historically black university in Langston, Oklahoma. It is the only historically black college in the state. Though located in a rural setting east of Guthrie, Langston also serves an urban mission, with University Centers in both Tulsa (at the same campus as the OSU-Tulsa facility) and Oklahoma City, and a nursing program in Ardmore. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Point guards are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. In basketball, an assist is attributed to a player who passes the ball to a teammate in a way that leads directly to a score by field goal, meaning that they were "assisting" in the basket. An assist is also credited when a basket is awarded due to defensive goaltending. There is some judgment involved in deciding whether a passer should be credited with an assist. An assist can be scored for the passer even if the player who receives the pass makes a basket after dribbling the ball for a short distance.
