Greg Stainer
Greg Stainer is a British house and electronic dance music DJ and producer. He is the co-creator and member of the electronic music duo Hollaphonic. Career Stainer first appeared on the music scene in the mid-1990s, DJing in London clubs playing UK garage. In 1998, Stainer started producing his own music and had his first commercially released track; "Weakness" released in the same year. "Weakness" was a collaboration with MJ Cole which was released on Very Important Plastic (VIP) Records. At this time, Stainer hosted a show on the London pirate radio station London Underground. "Weakness" later went on to become an underground garage hit. The song was featured on Warner Music's '' Pure Garage'' compilation album, ''Pure Garage Rewind Back to the Old Skool'' mixed by DJ EZ. MJ Cole
Matthew James Firth Coleman, better known by his stage name MJ Cole, is an English garage DJ, record producer and remixer. Career Born in London, England, in his youth, Cole was classically trained on the oboe and piano, and won scholarships to both the Royal College of Music Junior Department and City of London School. Having graduated from City University, Cole began working at the drum and bass label SOUR, as a tape operator and sound engineer to the likes of Freq Nasty and Ed Rush. It was working on Ramsey & Fen's 2-step remixes for Kym Mazelle, however, that gave him the garage bug. He was the trusted engineer and lead producer of tracks on the UK garage label V.I.P. Gaydar Radio
GaydarRadio is a podcast on Mixcloud streaming service, which used to be a British digital radio station for gay men, lesbians and gay friendly people, on DAB multiplexes in London and Brighton and also online. It was broadcast 24 hours a day, with live programming from 5am to midnight during the week, 7am to midnight at weekends. GaydarRadio, which was based in Twickenham in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, ceased broadcasting on Monday 7 January 2013 when the station's DAB channels were acquired by Gaydio. Format The station played a mix of dance and mainstream pop music, interspersed with chat and news. In contrast to much of the UK radio industry, the editorial focus is on personality rather than a strictly formatted music mix. Kiss is a British digital radio station owned and operated by Bauer as part of the Kiss Network. Dreem Teem
The Dreem Teem are a British DJ, music production and remixing trio consisting of DJ Spoony, Mikee B, and Timmi Magic. They formed in 1996 through pirate radio, and were instrumental in developing the UK garage sound. They presented radio shows on Kiss 100 (1997-2000) and BBC Radio 1 (2000-2003). DJ Spoony
DJ Spoony (born Johnathan Joseph; 25 June 1970) is a British DJ and radio presenter. He is a member of the UK garage production trio, the Dreem Teem. Early career Dj Spoony was born in Hackney, East London to British West Indian parents. His career started on London Underground (a leading pirate radio station in the mid-nineties), forming the trio the Dreem Teem with Mikee B (of Top Buzz) and Timmi Magic. DJ EZ (pronounced "DJ ee zed") is a UK garage DJ from Tottenham, North London. He was one of the earliest proponents of UK garage music, hosting a long-running Kiss 100 radio show and mixing the ''Pure Garage'' series of compilations.
