Greg Schorp
Greg Schorp (born September 6, 1971) is a former tight end in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys. He received All-SWC honors from 1991 to 1993 and was a first-team selection the latter two years. As a senior, he received honorable-mention All-American recognition. Early life Schorp was a standout at San Antonio Churchill High School. He was a two-time All-district tight end and linebacker. He also competed in basketball and baseball. He accepted a football scholarship from Texas A&M. He was a part of a strong squad that beat 13th ranked BYU 65–14 in the Holiday Bowl. As a sophomore in 1991, he caught seven passes for 114 yards as the Aggies won the first of three straight SWC titles during his Aggie tenure. Biloxi, Mississippi
Biloxi ( ; ) is a city in and one of two county seats of Harrison County, Mississippi, United States (the other being the adjacent city of Gulfport). The 2010 United States Census recorded the population as 44,054 and in 2019 the estimated population was 46,212. The area's first European settlers were French colonists. The Cotton Bowl Classic (also known as the Cotton Bowl) is an American college football bowl game that has been held annually in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex since January 1, 1937. The game was originally played at its namesake stadium in Dallas before moving to Cowboys Stadium (now AT&T Stadium) in nearby Arlington in 2010. 1994 NFL Draft
The 1994 NFL draft was the procedure by which National Football League teams selected amateur college football players. It is officially known as the NFL Annual Player Selection Meeting. The draft was held April 24–25, 1994, at the Marriott Marquis in New York City, New York. The league also held a supplemental draft after the regular draft and before the regular season. This was the first draft in which the rounds were reduced to seven in total. Jeffery Adam Granger (born December 16, 1971) is an American former professional baseball pitcher who played for the Kansas City Royals and the Pittsburgh Pirates of Major League Baseball (MLB). High school Granger was a star quarterback and pitcher for Orangefield High School in Orangefield, Texas. In 1990, his senior year, he led the Orangefield Bobcats to the state semifinals with a 23–6 record. The Texas Tech Red Raiders and Lady Raiders are the athletic teams that represent Texas Tech University, located in Lubbock, Texas.
