Gregory Allen Jackson (born August 20, 1966) is an American football coach who is the safeties coach for the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL). Jackson is also a former player who played safety in the NFL for 12 seasons for the New York Giants, San Diego Chargers, Philadelphia Eagles, and New Orleans Saints. He was drafted by the Giants in the third round of the 1989 NFL Draft and played college football at LSU. Playing career In 1994, he took over from Wes Hopkins as the starting free safety of the Philadelphia Eagles, and played there the following year, until he was replaced by rookie Brian Dawkins. Jackson is also known for making the tackle against Emmitt Smith that sprained his shoulder in the final regular season game of the 1993 season. Gregory Jackson (August 2, 1952 – May 1, 2012) was an American basketball player. He won a collegiate national championship at Guilford College and later played in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Jackson, a 6'0" point guard from Samuel J. Tilden High School in Brooklyn, New York. He attended West Columbus High School 1969–1970, Cerro Gordo, NC. He helped lead West Columbus to its first and only NCHSAA 2A State Basketball Tournament championship. He played his college basketball at Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina. There he teamed in the backcourt with future NBA All-Star Lloyd Free (now World B. Free) to lead the Quakers to the 1973 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics national championship. Greg Jackson (born December 29, 1959) was the head men's basketball coach at Delaware State University. He is an alumnus of Saint Paul's College in Lawrenceville, Virginia. Jackson was at the helm as Delaware State since 2000–2014, and was the second winningest coach in the history of the men's basketball program. He led the Hornets to three straight Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference titles from 2004 to 2007. Zapp (also known as the Zapp Band, Zapp & Roger) is an American funk band that emerged from Dayton, Ohio, United States, in 1977. Particularly influential in the electro subgenre of funk, Zapp were known for their trademark use of the talk-box effect. The original line-up consisted of four Troutman brothers—frontman Roger, Larry, Lester and Terry—and non-Troutman family members Bobby Glover, Gregory Jackson, Sherman Fleetwood, Jerome Derrickson, Eddie Barber and Shirley Murdock.
