Greg Hurst
Greg Hurst (born 8 April 1997) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a striker for New Mexico United in the USL Championship. Hurst has previously played for Stirling Albion, St Johnstone, Forfar Athletic, East Fife, Berwick Rangers, Stenhousemuir, Chattanooga Red Wolves, Union Omaha and Phoenix Rising FC. Career Hurst is from Stirling. Following a trial with Everton, Hurst signed for St Johnstone in September 2015. He moved on loan to East Fife in 2017, having played as a trialist against his parent club during a pre-season friendly. He was then loaned to Forfar Athletic in January 2018, and back to Berwick Rangers in September 2018. Hurst left St Johnstone permanently in January 2019, signing for Stenhousemuir. He moved to American side Chattanooga Red Wolves in August 2019. On 22 January 2021, Hurst moved to USL League One side Union Omaha. 2020 USL League One Season
The 2020 USL League One season was the second season of USL League One. The regular season was scheduled to begin on March 27 and end on October 3. On March 13, it was announced the regular season start would be delayed to April 11 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This delay was extended to May 10. The delay was extended for a third time with the USL awaiting guidance and clarity from various authorities before announcing a new date. On June 5, the league announced a provisional return date of July 18. On July 2, the league announced a modified 20-game schedule (but changed to a 16-game schedule on July 17) with a modified playoffs. Now, only the top two teams will go straight to the League Finals, on the weekend of October 31. On July 8, Toronto FC II announced they would not play in 2020 because of COVID-19 restrictions. 2017–18 Scottish League One
The 2017–18 Scottish League One (known as Ladbrokes League One for sponsorship reasons) was the 23rd season in the format of 10 teams in the third-tier of Scottish football. The fixtures were published on 23 June 2017. Ten teams contested the league: Airdrieonians, Albion Rovers, Alloa Athletic, Arbroath, Ayr United, East Fife, Forfar Athletic, Queen's Park, Raith Rovers and Stranraer. Prize money In April 2018, the SPFL confirmed the prize money to be allocated to the league members at the conclusion of the competitions. The Scottish League Two, known as cinch League Two for sponsorship reasons, is the fourth tier of the Scottish Professional Football League, the league competition for men's professional football clubs in Scotland. The Scottish League Two was established in July 2013, after the Scottish Professional Football League was formed by a merger of the Scottish Premier League and Scottish Football League. Since the 2014–15 season, the bottom team has entered a play-off against the winner of a play-off between the winners of the Highland and Lowland Leagues for a place in the following season's competition. The last placed team (Cowdenbeath) entered a play-off with a team nominated by the Scottish Football Association from outside the SPFL (East Kilbride), to determine which team entered League Two in the 2017–18 season. The fixtures were published on 17 June 2016. Ten teams contested the league: Annan Athletic, Arbroath, Berwick Rangers, Clyde, Cowdenbeath, Edinburgh City, Elgin City, Forfar Athletic, Montrose and Stirling Albion.
