Greg Hart
Greg Hart is an English guitarist who is a co-founding member of the UK power pop rock band Cats in Space. The band was established in 2015 with rock drummer/percussionist Steevi Bacon. History Hart's career started off in southern England based heavy metal band Snowblind that he formed with school friends (1980). After working with several other local bands he co-founded London rock band Moritz who recorded one EP ''Shadows of a Dream'' (1987) before splitting. In 1988 he helped form If Only with management team Harry Cowell and Simon Napier-Bell and recorded one album featuring ex-Girlschool vocalist Jackie Bodimead. The band toured the UK with ex-Ian Gillan bass player John McCoy. In 1991 he joined up with Geoff Downes, to co-write songs and sing on the Asia album ''Aqua'' (1992) and also guested on live TV with Mike Oldfield to help promote his last album for the Virgin label ''Heaven's Open''. Power Pop
Power pop (also typeset as powerpop) is a form of pop rock based on the early music of bands such as the Who, the Beatles, the Beach Boys, and the Byrds. It typically incorporates melodic hooks, vocal harmonies, an energetic performance, and cheerful sounding music underpinned by a sense of yearning, longing, or despair. The sound is primarily rooted in pop and rock traditions of the early to mid-1960s, although some acts have occasionally drawn from later styles such as punk, new wave, glam rock, pub rock, college rock, and neo-psychedelia. Originating in the 1960s, power pop developed mainly among American musicians who came of age during the British Invasion. Many of these young musicians wished to retain the "teenage innocence" of pop and rebelled against newer forms of rock music that were thought to be pretentious and inaccessible. ''Decades'' is a 2017 double concept album by David Palfreyman and Nicholas Pegg, who co-produced it with Ian Caple. The album features a cast of notable actors, singers and musicians, including David Warner, Richard Coyle, Jacqueline Pearce, Jan Ravens, Simon Greenall, Edward Holtom, Sarah Jane Morris, Cassidy Janson, Mitch Benn, David Palfreyman, Jessica Lee Morgan, Ian Shaw, Gary Barnacle, Greg Hart, Terry Edwards and Martyn Barker. ''Decades'' is divided into four 'Acts' (corresponding to the four sides of the double vinyl format), and features 20 songs written by Palfreyman, alternating with a linking dramatic narrative written by Pegg. "The Flame" is a power ballad written by British songwriters Bob Mitchell and Nick Graham. The song was released in 1988 by the American rock band Cheap Trick and the first single from their tenth album ''Lap of Luxury''. "The Flame" reached number one on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 in July 1988, becoming the band's only number one hit. It also reached number one in Australia and Canada. LaDonna Adrian Gaines (December 31, 1948May 17, 2012), known professionally as Donna Summer, was an American singer and songwriter. She gained prominence during the disco era of the 1970s and became known as the " Queen of Disco", while her music gained a global following. Michael Moran (born 4 March 1948) is an English musician, songwriter, composer and record producer. Biography Moran studied at the Royal College of Music in London prior to becoming a session musician and a composer and arranger. His work in the latter field includes scoring music for such HandMade Films productions as ''Time Bandits'' (1981), ''The Missionary'' (1982) and ''Water'' (1985).
