Greg Forristall
Gregory Forristall (February 15, 1950 – May 10, 2017) was an American politician who served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 2007 until his death in 2017. Prior to his death, Forristall served on several committees in the Iowa House, including Human Resources, Transportation, and Ways and Means committees. He also served as the chair of the Labor committee and as a member of the Economic Development Appropriations Subcommittee. Early life and education Forristall was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and was raised and lived near Macedonia. After graduation from Carson-Macedonia High School in 1968, he went on to complete coursework in computer science and international marketing at Iowa Western Community College and earned bachelor's and master's degrees in music at the University of Iowa in 1972 and 1973 respectively. Deborah L. Berry (born September 2, 1958) is an American politician who was the Iowa State Representative from the 62nd District from 2012 to 2017. From 2003 to 2012 she represented the 22nd district, most of which is part of the current 62nd district. Mary Lynn Wolfe (born 1963) is a former Democratic member of the Iowa House of Representatives from the 98th district. Personal life Wolfe holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a JD from the University of Iowa. She has been an attorney in private practice with her father. Political career In 2010, Wolfe announced that she would run to represent District 26 in the Iowa House of Representatives, after the former representative, Polly Bukta, announced that she would not run for re-election. She defeated the Republican opponent, David A. Rose, by 424 votes. Following redistricting in 2011, Wolfe ran to represent District 98 in 2012 and won. She was re-elected to that seat four times. She did not seek reelection in 2022 and left office in January 2023.
