The 5.2-mile trail begins in Jefferson Township, Greene County, Pennsylvania, Millsboro at the Greene Cove Yacht Club, where the trail follows Ten Mile Creek for a quarter mile before turning upstream along the left (west) bank of the Monongahela River. The trail passes through Rices Landing, Pennsylvania, Rices Landing and ends in Cumberland Township, Greene County, Pennsylvania, Crucible. Greene County is a county in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. As of the 2020 census, the population was 35,954. Its county seat is Waynesburg. Greene County was created on February 9, 1796, from part of Washington County and named for General Nathanael Greene. Greene County is part of the Pittsburgh media market.
