Greenbrier High School (GHS) is a comprehensive public high school serving more than 600 students in grades ten through twelve in Greenbrier, Arkansas, United States. It is one of six public high schools in Faulkner County and is the sole high school administered by the Greenbrier School District. Greenbrier High School is the home of the pilot program that formed the national EAST Initiative. Academics The school is accredited by the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) and has been accredited by AdvancED (formerly North Central Association) since 1988. Curriculum The assumed course of study follows the Smart Core curriculum developed the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE), which requires students to complete 22 credit units before graduation. Greenbrier High School is a public high school located in Greenbrier, Tennessee, United States. It is part of Robertson County Schools. The school educates about 800 students in grades 9 to 12. 2017 bomb threat On March 6, 2017, three Robertson County Schools, Springfield High School, Robertson County Alternative School, and Greenbrier High School, received bomb threats. Students were evacuated and all three schools were searched, however no bombs were found. The caller was identified as Austin Holliman, an 18-year-old, who attended the Robertson County Alternative School but previously attended Greenbrier High School. He was later booked into the Robertson County Jail. Greenbrier East High School
Greenbrier East High School is a consolidated school in Fairlea, West Virginia, that serves grades 9 through 12. It is a part of Greenbrier County Schools. Greenbrier East High School is located on Spartan Lane, just off US 219 near Lewisburg, West Virginia. Although not within easy walking distance of Lewisburg, the school has a Lewisburg mailing address. The school had 1,048 students enrolled (as of 2021-2022), and over 65 faculty members. The Spartans won the 2012 girls' basketball state championship under head coach and now-Governor Jim Justice (since 2017), a billionaire businessman who has coached the team since 2003 (and the boys' team from 2011 through 2017). Justice has stated that he intends to continue his coaching duties while serving as Governor of the State of West Virginia.
