Green Bay-Titirangi
Green Bay-Titirangi United was a football (soccer) club in West Auckland, New Zealand. It participated in lower divisions of the Northern League between 1978 and 1982 and again between 1988 and 1997, often without much success. Their most famous player was Danny Hay who played for Leeds United, Walsall and the New Zealand Knights amongst others. He also appeared for the New Zealand men's national football team, the ''All Whites''. West Auckland ( mi, Te Uru o Tāmaki Makaurau) is one of the major geographical areas of Auckland, the largest city in New Zealand. Much of the area is dominated by the Waitākere Ranges, the eastern slopes of the Miocene era Waitākere volcano which was upraised from the ocean floor, and one of the largest regional parks in New Zealand. Daniel John Hay (born 15 May 1975) is a retired New Zealand professional footballer who is currently the manager of the New Zealand national football team, New Zealand U-23, and New Zealand U-20. Hay played as a central defender for Premier League club Leeds United and National Soccer League side, Perth Glory. He also captained Waitakere United in the New Zealand Football Championship.
