National Road 74 ( el, Εθνική Οδός 74, abbreviated as EO74) is a single carriageway road in southern Greece. It connects Pyrgos, Elis, Pyrgos with Tripoli, Greece, Tripoli, via Olympia, Greece, Olympia and Vytina. Its length is . It runs through the western and central part of the Peloponnese peninsula, in the regional units Elis (regional unit), Elis and Arcadia (regional unit), Arcadia. Route The western terminus of the GR-74 is in Pyrgos, Elis, Pyrgos, where it branches off the Greek National Road 9, GR-9. On its way east, it follows the Alfeios valley past Olympia, Greece, Olympia until Tripotamia, where it starts following the river Ladon (river), Ladon upstream. Near Kalliani it turns east again. Pyrgos, Elis
Pyrgos ( el, Πύργος, meaning "tower") is a city in the northwestern Peloponnese, Greece, capital of the regional unit of Elis and the seat of the Municipality of Pyrgos. The city is located in the middle of a plain, from the Ionian Sea. The river Alfeios flows into sea about south of Pyrgos. Ladon (river)
The Ladon (Ancient Greek and Katharevousa: , ''Ládōn''; Demotic Greek: , ''Ládōnas'') is a river in the Peloponnese peninsula of Greece. It features in Greek mythology. It is a tributary to the river Alfeios, which empties into the Ionian Sea. It is long. Dimitsana
Dimitsana ( el, Δημητσάνα) is a mountain village and a former municipality in Arcadia, Peloponnese, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Gortynia, of which it is the seat and a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 110.759 km2. Dimitsana is built on the ruins of the ancient town Teuthis. The population of the village is 342 (2011 census), while it was 611 in 2001. It has been registered as a traditional settlement. Lagadia ( el, Λαγκάδια) is a mountain village and a former municipality in Arcadia, Peloponnese, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Gortynia, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 79.475 km2.
