Greeeen
Greeeen (stylized as GReeeeN) is a Japanese vocal group from Kōriyama in Fukushima Prefecture, comprising the all-male four members: HIDE, navi, 92 (read as "kuni"), and SOH. They made their debut with Universal Music in 2007. Their logo image is of a mouthful of teeth, and the four "e" indicate the number of members and the dentition that you can see when you smile because of all of them were graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry. The sound production is handled by HIDE's older brother JIN, a former guitarist of Pay money To my Pain. According to their website at Universal Music Japan, their catch phrase is "Rock 'n' Breakbeats with four microphones". One notable characteristic is that none of the members have ever shown their faces in the public sphere as a part of GReeeeN, whether in their promotional videos, CDs, television performances, or the Internet. Kiseki (Greeeen Song)
is the 7th single released by Greeeen on May 28, 2008. The term "Kiseki" is the kakekotoba of and in the lyrics of the song. It reached the number-one position on the Japanese Oricon weekly charts for 2 weeks and physically sold over 500,000 copies. The song was ranked at the number-one position on the ''Billboard'' Japan Hot 100 Singles Yearly Charts of 2008. On May 28, 2009, it was announced that the sales of the full-track ringtone digital-format version (''Chaku Uta Full'') of the song passed 2.3 million copies, surpassing the Japanese digital sales record of Thelma Aoyama's single "Soba ni Iru ne". The song was given the certificate for the "best selling download single in Japan" by the Guinness World Records on June 29, 2009. The was a record chart that ranks the best selling digital singles in Japan, with data provided by the Recording Industry Association of Japan from April 2009. The chart measures cellphone downloads (着うたフル ''Chaku-Uta Full'') (not downloads from PCs, or ringtones (着うた ''Chaku-Uta'')). On July 27, 2012, the service that tracked the charts was shut down. History The RIAJ originally started certifying digital downloads in August 2006. At the same time, they began posting a monthly chart called the (officially the ). History

Early in life, Kei started writing lyrics as a way to cope with his depression and dark feelings. In 2005, after the disbandment of vocalist K's previous band, Gun Dog, he recruited four members and formed Pay money To my Pain. Kei said that his lyrics expressed his deepest pain and when fans bought the CDs, they were literally buying into his pain. Hence, Pay money To my Pain. The Oricon Albums Chart is the Japanese music industry standard albums popularity chart issued daily, weekly, monthly and yearly by Oricon. Oricon originally published LP, CT, Cartridge and CD charts prior to the establishment of the Oricon Albums Chart on October 5, 1987. The Oricon Albums Chart's rankings are based on physical albums' sales. Oricon did not include download sales until its establishment of the Digital Albums Chart on November 19, 2016.
