A greatest hits album or best-of album is a type of compilation album that collects popular and commercially successful songs by a particular artist or band. Michael Philip Batt, LVO (born 6 February 1949) is an English singer-songwriter, musician, arranger, record producer, director and conductor. He was formerly the Deputy Chairman of the British Phonographic Industry.
