Greatest Hits (A-Teens Album)
''Greatest Hits'' is A-Teens' last album. It is a compilation including their biggest worldwide hits, such as Mamma Mia (ABBA song)#A-Teens version, "Mamma Mia", Upside Down (A-Teens song), "Upside Down", "Halfway Around the World", Floorfiller (song), "Floorfiller", and many others. Every track included on the album (except for the new tracks) reached the Top 20 in at least one country. The album was planned to be released in early 2004, but due to problems with Stockholm Records/Universal Music, A-Teens released the album on May 5, 2004. For the release of this album, the A-Teens called all their fans through their website asking for pictures, and they included the pictures on the booklet of the album. A-Teens
A-Teens (stylized as A★TEENS or A*Teens) were a Swedish pop music group from Stockholm, Sweden, formed by Niklas Berg in 1998 originally as an ABBA tribute band called ABBA-Teens and was later renamed A-Teens. The band members were Marie Serneholt, Amit Paul, Dhani Lennevald and Sara Lumholdt. The band's debut album became a success around the world. In 2001, following their second album, '' Teen Spirit'', it was reported that the band had sold 2 million copies. After six years together, the band announced they would take a break in 2004 after the release of their ''Greatest Hits'' album. Each song from that album became a Top 20 hit in at least one country around the world. However, following in the year 2006, Serneholt's Swedish-language website has announced that they had made their break-up more indefinite, and is said to have finally disbanded as they all went to pursue solo recording careers for the next few years. "Dancing Queen" is a Europop and disco song by the Swedish group ABBA, released as the lead single from their fourth studio album, ''Arrival'' (1976). It was written by Benny Andersson, Björn Ulvaeus and Stig Anderson. Andersson and Ulvaeus also produced the song. "Floorfiller" is a song by Swedish pop group A-Teens. It was released on 15 July 2002 in the United States as the second single from their third studio album, ''Pop 'til You Drop!'' It was later released on 14 October 2002 in Europe as the first single from the group's fourth (and final) studio album, ''New Arrival''. The track was written by Grizzly, Tysper and Mack, who had previously worked with the group on several songs on their second studio album, '' Teen Spirit'', including " Upside Down" and " Halfway Around the World". It was recorded in August 1979 in order to help promote their North American and European tour of that year, and was released on ABBA's '' Greatest Hits Vol. 2'' album as the brand new track. Stig Erik Leopold Anderson (25 January 1931 – 12 September 1997), better known as Stikkan Anderson, was a Swedish music manager, lyricist and music publisher. He was the co-founder of Polar Music, and is best known for managing the Swedish pop band ABBA. Björn Kristian Ulvaeus (; born 25 April 1945) is a Swedish singer, songwriter, producer, a member of the musical group ABBA, and co-composer of the musicals ''Chess'', '' Kristina från Duvemåla'', and '' Mamma Mia!'' Benny Andersson
Göran Bror Benny Andersson (; born 16 December 1946) is a Swedish musician, singer, composer and producer best known as a member of the musical group ABBA and co-composer of the musicals ''Chess'', '' Kristina från Duvemåla'', and '' Mamma Mia!'' John Dhani Lennevald (born 24 July 1984 in Stockholm) is a Swedish songwriter, record producer, and formerly a Pop/ R&B dancer and singer.
