Great Britain At The 2024 Summer Olympics
Great Britain, (known as Team GB or the 'Great Britain and Northern Ireland Olympic Team') the team of the British Olympic Association (BOA) which represents the United Kingdom, competed at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris from 26 July to 11 August 2024. The delegation of 327 athletes included 172 women and 155 men and featured 73 medallists from previous Games. The team was made up of athletes from the whole United Kingdom including Northern Ireland (whose people may elect to hold Irish nationality law, Irish citizenship and are able to be selected to represent either Great Britain or Ireland at the 2024 Summer Olympics, Ireland at the Olympics). Isabelle Thorpe (born 4 March 2001) is a British synchronised swimmer. She competed in the women's duet event at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan. Scarlett Mew Jensen (born 31 December 2001) is a British diver. She formed part of the gold medal winning Great Britain squad in the Team event at the 2024 World Aquatics championships, and has won two World Championship medals in her specialist 3 metre synchronised springboard event with Yasmin Harper. Yasmin Isis Harper (born 28 July 2000) is a British diver. Career Harper was a multiple British champion before she represented England at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in the 1m and 3m springboard events. The team eventing event at the 2024 Summer Olympics took place from 27 to 29 July 2024 at the Palace of Versailles.
