The following is the discography of Less Than Jake, a Florida-based ska punk band. Less Than Jake's first full-length LP ''Pezcore'' debuted in August 1995, featuring such staples as "Liquor Store" and "My Very Own Flag", originally on Dill Records. Shortly following the release of ''Pezcore'', the band was signed to Capitol Records. They debuted on the major label in 1996 with ''Losing Streak''. The album was full of the band's wry, fast-paced brand of ska-punk anthems, producing such fan favorites as "Johnny Quest Thinks We're Sellouts," "Jen Doesn't Like Me Anymore," and "Automatic". In 1998 the band released ''Hello Rockview'', one of their most acclaimed albums. In September 2000, the band released '' Borders & Boundaries''. Less Than Jake
Less Than Jake is an American ska punk band from Gainesville, Florida, formed in 1992. The band consists of Chris DeMakes (guitars, vocals), Roger Lima (bass, vocals), Matt Yonker (drums), Buddy Schaub (trombone), and Peter "JR" Wasilewski (saxophone). The group released its debut album, ''Pezcore'', in 1995, following a series of independent seven-inch single releases. The band's subsequent two studio albums, ''Losing Streak'' (1996) and ''Hello Rockview'' (1998), were released on major label, Capitol Records, leading to increased exposure. ''Borders and Boundaries'' was released in 2000 on Fat Wreck Chords. Fueled by Ramen LLC is an American record label owned by Warner Music Group and distributed by 300 Elektra Entertainment. The label, founded in Gainesville, Florida in 1996, is now based in New York City. History John Janick conceived of the label while attending high school, but it was not until he enrolled at the University of Florida in Gainesville and teamed up with Less Than Jake drummer-lyricist Vinnie Fiorello that Fueled By Ramen became a reality. The name of the label was inspired by only being able to afford a diet of inexpensive instant ramen at the time, due to having invested most of their money into making records. Pure Noise Records is an American punk rock record label based in Nashville, Tennessee. It was founded by Jake Round in 2009 while he was an editor at ''AMP''; the previous fall, friends of his in the band No Bragging Rights told him they were looking for a new label, and Round expressed interest in releasing the album himself. Prior to this Round had a short stint as an intern at Fat Wreck Chords. While the label began as a home operation, and had only put out five albums by the end of 2010, by 2014 some of the label's roster were main-stage acts at Warped Tour, and others had sold nearly 50,000 copies of their albums. ''Silver Linings'' is the ninth studio album by American ska punk band Less Than Jake, released on December 11, 2020. It is their first studio album in little more than seven years (their longest non-album gap), their first full-length release on Pure Noise Records and their first with new drummer Matt Yonker, who joined the band following founding member Vinnie Fiorello's departure in October 2018. Recorded in November and December 2019 and mixed in February 2020, the record was delayed due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the music industry.
