Grayceon
Grayceon is a three-piece metal band from San Francisco. They were formed in 2005. They were licensed on the label Vendlus Records from 2005 to 2009 and are currently licensed on the label Profound Lore Records. Their debut album ''Grayceon'' was released in 2007 and their second release ''This Grand Show'' came out in 2008. A 7" split with Giant Squid was also released on The End Records in late 2007. Grayceon consists of Jackie Perez Gratz on electric cello/vocals, Max Doyle on guitar/vocals, and Zack Farwell on drums. Gratz is a member of Giant Squid, was a core member of Amber Asylum from 1997 to 2007, and is the guest performer on albums by bands such as Agalloch, Asunder, Neurosis, Today Is the Day, Matmos Matmos is an experimental electronic music duo originally from San Francisco but now residing in Baltimore. Giant Squid (band)
Giant Squid was an American post-metal, progressive rock band, based out of San Francisco, California since 2007, but originated from Sacramento, California, in 2002, as well as a stint in Austin, Texas, throughout 2006. The band is currently signed to Translation Loss Records out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They were previously signed to The End Records out of Brooklyn, New York. Current lineup contains founding members Aaron John Gregory (guitar, vocals) and Bryan Beeson (bass), as well as Jackie Perez Gratz (electric cello, vocals), Zack Farwell (drums), and Andrew Southard (keyboards, vocals). Agalloch () was an American extreme metal band from Portland, Oregon. Formed in 1995 by frontman John Haughm, they released five full-length albums, four EPs, two singles, one split single, two demos, four compilation albums and one live video album. They announced their disbandment in May 2016. Neurosis is an American avant-garde metal band from Oakland, California. It was formed in 1985 by guitarist Scott Kelly, bassist Dave Edwardson, and drummer Jason Roeder, initially as a hardcore punk band. Chad Salter joined as a second guitarist and appeared on the band's 1987 debut ''Pain of Mind'' before being replaced by Steve Von Till in 1989.
