Gray Dorsey
Gray L. Dorsey (died July 20, 1997) was an American law professor. He was professor emeritus of international law at Washington University in St. Louis, and had been the Charles Nagel Professor of Jurisprudence in International Law. He had also been president of the International Association for Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy. He was the subject of a festschrift, ''Law, culture, and values: essays in honor of Gray L. The International Association for the Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy (IVR) is a learned society for science and was founded in 1909 as the "Internationale Vereinigung für Rechts- und Wirtschaftsphilosophie". It was renamed to "Internationale Vereinigung für Rechts- und Sozialphilosophie" in 1933. The IVR is the world's central academic organization for the study and advancement of legal and social philosophy. Mission The primary activities of the IVR include a World Congress every two years, publication of the international journal ''Archiv für Rechts- und Sozialphilosophie'' (ARSP), and the IVR Encyclopedia of the Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy. Hamilton is a city in northern Caldwell County, Missouri, and is part of the Kansas City metropolitan area within the United States. The population was 1,690 at the 2020 census. It is known as the hometown of James Cash Penney, who built a large apparel-related business, J. C. A year or annus is the orbital period of a planetary body, for example, the Earth, moving in its orbit around the Sun.
