''Grave Times'' is the debut album by English metal band The Defiled. It was released on 14 February 2011 through Raise the Game and with ''Metal Hammer ''Metal Hammer'' is a heavy metal music magazine and website founded in 1983, published in the United Kingdom by Future, with other language editions available in numerous other countries. ''Metal Hammer'' features news, reviews and long-form ...'' magazine as a free cover mount disc along with the January issue. So far music videos have been released for 3 tracks: Call To Arms, Black Death and Blood Sells. Black Death and Blood Sells were both released as singles with remixes and alternative versions on 18 December 2012. It is also JC Brutal's last release with the band, and Vincent Hyde's first. The Defiled
The Defiled were a four-piece British band from London mixing groove-laden hardcore/metal with industrial music influences. They have been described by ''Kerrang!'' magazine as "The saviours of UK Metal" and championed by ''Metal Hammer'' as one of the leaders in a new wave of British metal along with bands such as While She Sleeps, Bury Tomorrow and Devil Sold His Soul. Metalcore
Metalcore (also known as metallic hardcore) is a fusion music genre that combines elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk. Groove Metal
Groove metal is a subgenre of heavy metal music that began in the early 1990s. The genre achieved success in the 1990s and continued having success in the 2000s. Inspired by thrash metal and traditional heavy metal, groove metal features raspy singing and screaming, down-tuned guitars, heavy guitar riffs, and syncopated rhythms. Unlike thrash metal, groove metal is usually slower and also uses elements of traditional heavy metal. Thrash Metal

1888 (EP)
''1888'' is the debut EP by English metal band The Defiled. It was released on 26 October 2009 through the IATDE Records. The band's first music video for the song "The Resurrectionists" was released a couple of months after the EP was released. This same song was re-recorded for their debut album, ''Grave Times'', which was released on 14 February 2011. The band toured with the Jägermeister Stage and headlined this stage during the 2009 Sonisphere Festival. Daggers (The Defiled Album)
''Daggers'' is the second and final studio album by British industrial metal band The Defiled, released in Europe on 2 August 2013, in the UK on 5 August, and in the US on 6 August. The album is their first to be released on Nuclear Blast, and first fan-funded album, funded through summer 2012 on PledgeMusic, as well as the debut of drummer Needles. The album was recorded throughout summer 2012 with producer Jason Suecof in Florida. The first single, "Sleeper", was released by the band on 17 March 2013. The second single, "Unspoken", was released along with a music video on 4 June, which was directed by Robin Fuller who also directed the video for the band's first ever single, 'The Resurrectionists'.
