Grant Shoults
Grant Shoults (born June 6, 1997) is a retired American competitive swimmer who won the gold medal in the 400 meter freestyle at the 2015 FINA World Junior Swimming Championships in Singapore. He also won the silver medal in the 200 meter freestyle. Together with his teammates, he holds the junior world record in the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay. Shoults also participated in the 2014 Junior Pan Pacific Championships in Maui, Hawaii. He attends Santa Margarita Catholic High School in Southern California and committed to swimming at Stanford Stanford University, officially Leland Stanford Junior University, is a private research university in Stanford, California. The Stanford Cardinal are the athletic teams that represent Stanford University. As of June, 2022, Stanford's program has won 131 NCAA team championships. Santa Margarita Catholic High School (SMCHS) is a coeducational college preparatory Roman Catholic high school located in Rancho Santa Margarita, California, United States. SMCHS is owned and operated by the Diocese of Orange, and was opened in 1987 under the direction of the Bishop of Orange.
