Grant McDonald (baseball)
Grant Alexander Wesley McDonald (born 23 September 1973 in Brisbane, Queensland), is an Australian baseball player. He competed at the 1996 and 2000 Summer Olympics. Australian Baseball League McDonald first played for the Brisbane Bandits ABL team as an 18-year-old in 1991 he took 2 years to establish himself. McDonald became the starting centerfielder and was part of the 1993/94 Brisbane Bandits championship team winning its first ABL title. Over the next 5 seasons playing for the Brisbane Bandits his batting average increased each year .269,.286,.326,.354 to 1998's mark of .359 his best year with 18 home runs and 49 RBI's. In 1999 with the Brisbane Bandits folding he was picked up by the Gold Coast Cougars where he won his second ABL championship. In 2000 McDonald was back in action in the inaugural IBLA season with the Queensland Rams and performed well batting .327. Grant McDonald (Canadian Football)
Grant McDonald (born July 14, 1999) is a former Canadian football linebacker. He previously played for the Edmonton Elks and Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was drafted by the Elks with the 14th overall selection in the 2021 CFL Draft. From 2018 to 2019, he played U Sports football for the University of Calgary Dinos, where he was a Vanier Cup champion in 2019. Prior to transferring to Calgary in 2018, he attended and played one season for the University of Maine Black Bears of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) in the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) in 2017. Grant Macdonald is a silversmith and goldsmith company based in London. History Founded in 1969 by Grant Macdonald, Grant Macdonald began as a silversmith workshop and became a limited company in 1977. By the early 1980s Grant Macdonald produced many pieces for the Middle Eastern market. In 1998 they remade the orb and cross for the Dresden Frauenkirche which was installed in 2004. This piece was required to be made using the same materials and making process as the 18th-century original, which was destroyed by Allied bombings during World War II.
